After an alien possessed Oden Madigan with near catastrophic results in the last Starship Webster adventure, she returns to duty in ‘Artifacts’ and resumes her station on the bridge.

The Webster goes to Sigma Rho Crucis IV, a dead planet that was once full of life before being struck by a comet 12,000 years earlier.

Some members of the crew aren’t very trusting of navigator Madigan, she’s sent to sick bay to get checked out before going on an away mission and she isn’t given a phaser for the away mission and some crewmembers don’t want to approach her.

The away mission was a success and navigator Madigan makes an interesting discovery; the ending will also get your attention as it mentions an old yet misunderstood adversary that has reappeared in Federation space, why are they back? that’s a story for another fan film.

It is another well thought out fan film put together by Potemkin Pictures, the less combat, more character and thinking formula works well in ‘Artifacts’.
