There’s no question that Chris Lea makes beautiful fan films, they are short, yet the visuals are stunning, and ‘Indiana’ is no exception as it is a beautifully made fan film.

This fan film sees the USS Libra picking up strange readings and reports them to Starfleet, meanwhile the USS Indiana is sitting in dock when the call comes for them to assist the Libra.

The Indiana’s design comes from the Planet of the Titans/Star Trek: Phase II development era when Star Trek was trying to get back on screens around the world, if I remember right, you can see a variation of this ship in Spacedock when the Enterprise is there in Star Trek III.

One of the nice things about Chris’ work is that he dives deep into the world of Star Trek to bring us ships like the Indiana, many play it safe with the use of ships, but Chris likes to find the obscure and rarely seen ships and bring them to life.

Without giving too much away, the Indiana’s mission is not straightforward and so the NX-1955 has to show its teeth, what happens to it and the Libra? tune in and find out, you won’t be disappointed.
