I go all the way back to Video #1 on the Potemkin Pictures channel and it is Project: Potemkin’s ‘The Old Guys’.

This fan film launched on YouTube on November 15, 2010, and has currently recorded just over 20,000 YouTube views in its lifetime.

This fan film was inspired by a question as it was noted that the Project: Potemkin cast, and the production crew were quite young people.

Thanks to Potemkin’s detailed record keeping in the video description, we know the fan film starred William Walker, Ricky Thompson, Junius Stone, Randall Landers, Stephanie Burke, Eric R. Moore and Bethany Carver.

‘The Old Guys’ was written by Randall Landers and was directed by J.T. Ealum with Jeffrey Green serving as Director of Photography, the fan film was edited by Thomas J. Scott and music was done by Steve Gallant.

‘The Old Guys’ is a nice, simple fan film about Commander Brian Reigert (played by Randall Landers) who has made a bunch of bad decisions in the past with the bridge crew letting him know about each and every one about those mistakes.

This is a humorous fan film, we definitely need these sorts of fan films every now and then because we have plenty of fan films about starship crews doing iconic things, it is nice to know that someone, somewhere stuffs up on a starship.
