Seeing in the Dark was released on June 2, 2023, and it is a Starship Tristan fan film.

This fan film is another story driven fan film, you’re not going to see any wild phaser fights and that’s perfectly fine, not all fan films need ‘pew-pew’ action to tell a good story.

A little backstory, Tristan was a series put together by Potemkin Pictures until they had to move locations, the move came at a cost as several actors couldn’t follow Potemkin Pictures, but the beauty of technology has made it possible for the Tristan story to continue on.

For this adventure, the Tristan was on its way to the planet Niebo when an energy wave was detected coming from 17 Camelopardi.

The Tristan arrives at the planet but doesn’t get any answer from the colonists, that’s where I’ll stop telling the story because I don’t want to spoil it for you.

‘Seeing in the Dark’ was beautifully put together, the digital images are nice and crisp, the crew blend in nicely with them, the Tristan looks great and the story is solid too.
