While the big money fan films were basing themselves on the TOS era, there have been fan films like Raven that were or are centered around the Voyager era.

The hero ship is the USS Prometheus under the command of James Corbis, viewers may notice the uniforms are not the TNG movie era ones from when Voyager’s EMH encounters the ship on the show.

The name Raven is not a hero Ship or the hero Captain but instead is a character who plays an important role in the fan film.

For those interested, Voyager lost contact with Starfleet on 48307.5 and Voyager made contact with the Prometheus on Stardate 50749.5 so this takes place before 50749.5 so Prometheus may have been a prototype for some time.

The disappearance of USS Voyager plays a major part of this fan film as Starfleet continued to look for the ship after its disappearance.

There is one character in this fan film that people will recognize as the character made a few timely appearances on Voyager and those were some pretty memorable appearances.

The VFX is good, there are some parts where the music is over the top of the dialogue but it is not a major issue.

Overall viewers should get a good experience from watching this fan film.
