Most fan film productions are serious in tone but this one called ‘Quarantined’ is something else.

This is an animation story about the USS Enterprise-D and it’s crew but this isn’t a serious styled fan film.

There’s a Captain Baskin (think Tiger King) and references to Star Trek Discovery, CBS All Access, Abrams, 5G and more.

The story goes the USS Enterprise answers the distress call of the USS Abrams in the Corona 19 system where Captain Baskin alerts the Enterprise to a problem with a new holodeck firmware update called Discovery.

This new update has changed the Klingons, has given the holodeck foul language and a subscription fee and has caused the crew to gouge out their eyes and have other problems.

The crew attempts to deal with this problem by going away from the holodeck but Geordi couldn’t take it anymore after losing to Data in Chess and goes to the Holodeck, causing himself, Captain Picard, Chief O’Brien major problems.

You could say that this story was ripped from the headlines and given the Star Trek treatment with humour added in, if you need a laugh at all the craziness in Star Trek fandom then this is it.
